Hi there! My name is Jason Crawford, and I love illustrating, specifically in the style of cartoons.

My influencers come from the classic cartoon shows of the 1940's - 60's, like Bugs Bunny, Pop-eye, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones and too many others to name here.

I also love popular entertainment in sitcom television from a similar period with shows like The Munster's, Get Smart and Be-witched. Again, there are so-so many others.

Fast forward to the 80's with cinematic film that filled the theatres. With such greats that I love like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Goonies and Indiana Jones.

 

I go to these periods of time with fondness of memories, where I felt most comforted and fitted in, in a world that was more happy-go lucky. At least to a younger version of myself

 

And for these reasons, my illustrations are a nod to the past, a journey of nostalgia.
